Choosing the 90-minute facial allows for maximum relaxation with the addition of your choice of Hand and arm massage, chest massage or foot massage. We begin by prepping the skin with multiple levels of cleansing and exfoliating. We use mild acid exfoliators to brighten, decongest and ensure the skin is well prepared for deep penetration of the Environ serums and Vitamin A gels. During active treatment, the skin will be probed using a unique Sonophoresis soundwave technology to push skin-specific serums deeper into the layers of the skin at specific polarities to ensure you will achieve your desired result. At the mask phase, your face will be prepped with a vitamin A gel, and covered with an alginate mask that sits over the eye and lip area (depending on the clients comfort level); You will be clipped to the Environ Ionzyme machine, where Iontophoresis will be transmitted through the mask, delivering the vitamin A down to the Dermal layers of the skin, for maximum penetration and incredible results. The results of the peel can last for 2 to 4 months at a time right from the start and can last 6 months or a little more after repeated treatments. HOW OFTEN SHOULD I HAVE IT DONE ? It is generally advised to get a chemical peel every four to six weeks. However, if you suffer from acne, there are some peels that you can do every two weeks until you find the expected results. Most people buy a series of four or five peels up front to achieve the treatment results wanted IS IT PERMANENT The results require continued maintenance with a variation from deep to medium to light in terms of the strength of the peel. During the sonophoresis stage, you may experience a whistling noise in your ear, this is the sound waves bouncing around off of your facial structures (perfectly safe). But, you should experience very little to no discomfort or pain. Is there an Environ Facial you recommend for pregnancy? YES! it is one of the only facials we can perform during pregnancy! OUR TREATMENT The outer layers of skin (epithelial cells) are renewed every 5-7 days, regular gentle exfoliation is required to boost product penetration and to boost glowing healthy skin. Peels are now the preferred choice for exfoliation as they have many more benefits and longer lasting results than their predecessor, the traditional microdermabrasion. Book Now OUR TREATMENTS WHAT TO EXPECT Prior to your first treatment, a full skin consultation will be performed to ensure your concerns and desired outcomes are being addressed. Based on the consultation outcome, the correct peel strength will be chosen to ensure the desired results are being achieved. A therapeutic cleanse is performed on the skin, where the therapist will prepare the skin for your peel. The peel is applied in a cross-hatch motion to ensure an even application of peel is applied. The peel will be left on the skin for 10-20 minutes depending on the concern. The peel will be followed with a vitamin A serum applied all over the skin and a thick mask applied over the face for 10-20 minutes, where Iontophoresis will be delivered through the mask to help push the Vitamin A down to the dermal layers of the skin to help normalise oil production, normalise pigment production, stimulate collagen production and speed up the natural healing processes within the skin. All treatments are finished with application of SPF over the face and neck. This treatment is very relaxing with no discomfort, some tingling may be felt when the lactic acid peel is first applied to the skin, But it is not a painful procedure. What does it do?
